The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the backyard and the river below. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.
It would be nice if coffee and tea or other beverages were available in the afternoon and evenings. The auberge is not close to any cafes or restaurants, but there is a deck with a fantastic view where it would be enjoyable to relax with coffee or tea.

Great auberge. Tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable, beautiful setting, friendly, respecful, laidback, great gardens, flowers galore. Strongly recommend!
You have to wait quite a bit at reception for the owner to greet you. It is laidback, after all! But worth the wait!

Scenery, food and cleanliness of the overall property
We stayed in a room downstairs and it was quite noisy; we could hear people walk around upstairs starting at 7:00 in the morning and even hear their conversation during the evening. The price was the same as for the rooms on the upper level. The decoration of the room was quite ordinary.
